steamed veggies

i ate wayyyy too much processed junk yesterday so i felt a bit sick. what better way to combat the effects of a party food hangover than by making a big bowl of steamed veggies? to be a bit easier on the stomach, this recipe is oil-free, salt-free, and gluten-free!!

ingredients: 1 cup broccoli (i used frozen, but fresh works too – just add 1/4 cup water), 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 green onion, 2 mushrooms, 1/4 cup spinach.

directions: steam broccoli in microwave for 4-5 minutes. remove from microwave and stir in garlic. chop onion amd mushrooms and mix in, steaming again for 1 minute. remove from microwave and add spinach. steam 1 more minute, stir together, and enjoy!!
